Harassment Sign's
Cyber bullying is when a person is being harassed, humiliated, embarrassed, threatened or tormented by technology.
There are several kinds of cyber bullies:

  • Some cyber bullies on the internet world are victims of real world bullying. The victims that got bullied in the real world goes online and bully others to feel powerful.
  • Some cyber bullies just want to show that they can do certain things online to show off.
  • Some bullies offline and want to extend their power to the online world.

Hateful Verbal messages
  • The main verbal messages you want to look for is name calling, trying to control another person behavior by threatening to expose false information about the victims.
  • Photos and videos can be altered to look different from the original photo. Cyber bullies can change the look of the victims photo or the video that can embarrass and ruin the victims life.
  • The most common cyber bullying is when the bullies create false lies about the victims and spread it out to others.

Signs of Impersonation
An other harmful way of cyber bullying is when the bully impersonates their target and creates humiliating act or posts using their target's identity. This way, it is hard to know who did it or who the bully is.
  • On the online world. Bullies tends to create a screen name nearly identical to the screen name used by the victim. The cyber bullies use that screen name to embarrass or threaten them.
  • The bullies may steal the target's password, hack their accounts, and send embarrassing messages to others or post hateful comments.

Find out the cause
Some bullies start out as a friend, an ex, or someone else you know. If it seems possible to have a reasonable discussion with the person, consider asking him or her to stop. Have the conversation in person, not through email or text.
  • Keep in mind there may not always be a reason for cyber bullying, or one that is straightforward. Sometimes people lash out on others because of their own insecurities. In any case, it is not your fault.
  • If you have no idea who's the bully is or if you're being bullied by a group of people, try to talk it out with the but it probably won't work. You may have to take a stronger action.
Don't respond
If talking it out doesn't work. Don't respond to the text, messages, or any other communications, you may have received from the bully. If you send a via message back to the bully. It will make things worse.
  • Do not threatened the bully back with via messages. Sending messages to the bully will only provoke him/her to keep up the bad behavior against you, and it may get you in trouble, too.
Evidence
Try to save all the messages you receive from the bully, email, texts, messages, and any other evidence you collected  from the bully. Having as much information as possible about the bully's behavior will help you stop his or her behavior.

Security
Immediately block the bully's from direct communication with you. Once you've made sure all messages has been saved. This is where you start deleting every contact to the bully, Email, text and etc.

  • Delete the person from your email contacts and block instant messaging.
  • Delete the person from social communication... Facebook,Skype,Twitter, etc.
  • Block their phone number if you received texts from them.
Settings on Social websites
On social websites like Facebook and twitter etc. You can change your settings where no-one can find you without a email.

Main important are:
  • Don't reveal your address and phone number online. Social media sites make it easy for people to contact you in a lot of different ways... You can change your settings that only close friends can contact you.
